The inaugural ceremony of the special Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) program on “Cross Border Energy Trading” for Power Sector professionals from Indo-Pacific Region, being conducted under the aegis of the Development Partnership Administration, Ministry of External Affairs, was held on 11th Dec 2023 at NETRA. NTPC International Business Development Department (IBD), in association with NTPC School of Business (NSB) has designed a series of four such programs covering topics such as Infrastructure for EV Deployment, Smart Grids, Micro Grids, and CBET, of which two modules on Infrastructure for EV Deployment and Smart Grids have been completed in Nov 2023. The Cross Border Energy Trading module marks the onset of third leg of the four training programs. The program was formally inaugurated in presence of Director (NSB) and officials/faculty members from NTPC and NSB. As many as 15 participants from Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Costa Rica, and Cambodia are participating in this Capacity Building session.
